Little over a week ago Sirius lost a war in Leesti for a settlement control. 2 days ago that same settlement was returned to Sirius with out a war effort.
You people have no shame. This is plain cheating, there is no content for YOU people to use as excuse !!

edit: it feels like Fdevs are doing this on purpose to make people to stop playing ED.

Shirley you can't be Sirius?

Shirley people wouldn't be trying to do this because of your last crazy rant?

Roger, Roger.

Game's just bugged, sorry. In all likelyhood, it doesn't matter if they control some random Odyssey settlement.

Now, if they managed to take control of Leesti, that could be another thing. But looking at Leesti, this claimed support for Sirius seems yet to actually appear... so all is well.

Almost there, Sirius. Just another all of the way to go.

Which one? I spent a few days winning settlement CZs for Sirius when they were at war and in the end only one of them went to the Evil Party of Leesti. This settlement featured in a subsequent war between the Evil Party and some other faction. I put in a few wins against the Evils but I haven't been back to Leesti for a while.

After the war, I ran some inf missions for Sirius to pick them up from their 3% influence. They were at some 7% when I left and poised for another war.

Edit: now that I think about it, losing CZs for the bad faction is probably easier than winning

Kept reading that as the "Elvis Party of Leesti" ....!
Well, there was a tourist beacon that told me the "Justice Party" was an evil dictatorship and to be opposed at all times. Tourist beacons don't lie, do they?
I would have loved to fight against the Elvis Party in a foot CZ, though :) Show them my slick dance moves.

Tbh, as a still rather new arrival in this galaxy, I'm not overly well versed in its history. I barely know that Jameson shot first. This "old world" stuff sounds a bit stuck-in-the-past to me. Sirius doesn't look more evil than any other large corporation, what's the deal? They certainly appear competent and benevolent compared to Sirius Cybernetics.

If you don't like Sirius, boycott them. Stop buying their FSDs and go with a competitor.
Holding grudges over decades or more doesn't improve humanity one bit.

Weather balloon disturbance. Nothing to see. Resume your discussions.

Okay, that's quite a low bar for morality, and I'm not convinced Sirius even reach that.

There isn't a competitor. There was once a company called MetaDrive that looked as though it could have become one, but sadly their chairman suddenly died of a sudden illness, after which Sirius was able to buy out the company thanks to his very cooperative replacement.
