CHEATING!! Is it possible?

I understand your pain and NO, not a trash build at all I think, I think there are ways to cheat in the game simply cause it is peer 2 peer and server can't do so much if they are using client-side cheats, did you have 4 pips on sys in your first fight ? If so , then shield shouldn't go down that quick

Yes, I had 4 pips to systems, I always do when landing or leaving stations, and this happened outside a station.

However Engineers scenario might be correct, I think Engineers just ruined pvp, also I hate the way you have to grind to get those ugrades without any straightforward way to get those materials and no way to store them and transfer them to the ship you want to upgrade, it was badly designed

No, at least I did not notice it!!

Dude, for the last time, your culprit is a confirmed Engineers no-lifer, not a cheater, let it go already

Why should I let it go!!!
Your opinion is that he is not a cheater, thas noted.
I think he his, and i'm trying to understand how was he able in 30 seconds to destroy an A rated federal corvette with all the best modules and also heavily engineered!!

At the end of the day. Yes it sucked that whatever happened to you, happened. Had you recorded it we could give you a better gauge on if he/she was in fact cheating. Fraps man or If on the box snap the DVR and hit end clip for the longest duration( like five minutes)

I highly recommend having a way to record your gameplay for future occurrences.

As others have already told you several times, that is perfectly easy to do with heat weapons to a max spec Corvette that either doesn't heat sink or heat sinks too late.

I encountered a NPC that attacked me with thermal today but my temperature was not going up that much but I had to escape cause it took my shield down in no time

OP - Or use Nvidia shadowplay and record last 20 minutes of gameplay

When I was flying my A rated Federal Corvette I had a fight with [REDACTED], he was flying an anaconda.
My Ship was equipped with:
  • 7A shield generator with a level 5 engineer reinforced shields;
  • 4 shield boosters with level 3 heavy duty shield booster modification;
  • for hull protection I was using reactive surface composites;
  • All weapons with engineer upgrades;
  • All other modules A rated;

In just around 30 seconds we was able to bring:

  • my shields to 0%;
  • my hull to around 50%;
  • my weapons to 0%;
  • my two point defences to 0%;
  • my power plant to 0%;
  • most of other modules heavily damaged

His shields did not seam to be affected by my weapons.

In another encounter with the same Cmdr, we were both flying clippers, my clipper was also full A rated (all the best modules), he rammed me inside a station and was able to bring my hull to 4%, shields to 0%. I had 4 pips to systems.

Is this possible without using some kind of combat bot????

Engineered modules? Do you remember when combat was more like combat than top trumps?

infacts their shields didn't go down, the Corvette resisted much better than the Cutter ....

However there are cheats around for ED and some are likely to still work, make damage serverside problem is solved

The Corvette spammed heat sinks and once it was out, wake'd immediately otherwise he would have lost all his modules in 30 seconds, just like it happened to OP, who said he had 5 boosters and PD's, which means he probably had 1-2 heat sinks or not at all, and thats how he got burnt in seconds.

Case closed

Combat Logging, the oldest form of cheating, is alive and well.

Well yes, but to be honest by wake'ing out, or logging out, opponent admits that he is defeated, and victory is yours.

In fact when I fight people and drop them bellow 60% I often stop firing and see what they do, if they no longer attack me and peace out, I let them do that.

There is no particular gain from actually killing your oponent.
