Hayo Park Managers!

As we head towards launch, we've seen a few more frequently asked questions that we would like to respond to!

Does the guest cap also apply to PC, what affects it and why is it there? If it is on PC as well will it be removed from PC in a future update?

We have set a guest cap of 6000 guests to create the best experience in terms of performance for our players at launch. We will be continuing to analyse and evaluate player hardware feedback regarding this topic post-launch.

Are custom music/sounds/billboards in the game? Will they be added?

Planet Coaster 2 is all about creativity, and we are always considering new ways to bring your theme parks to life. We will be introducing these features in a future update.

Will load/unload stations be added?

Coasters and rides are at the heart of Planet Coaster 2. We will be introducing load/unload stations in a future update.

Will rides with built-in decor have 'vanilla' versions too?

Yes. Creativity is at the core of Planet Coaster 2, and the ability to attach scenery to rides is something which we’re very proud of, allowing Park Managers to create unique rides. We are always considering new ways to expand this creativity, and will continue to introduce further creative options, including additional neutral coaster cars in future updates.

Will Planet Coaster 2 be playable on Steam Deck?

Rich has the answer for you...

Thank you, Frontier.

There will be more people who say things like „they fixed this but no word on xyz yet“. It’s not personal. It is because we love this game just so much.

If anyone's listening, I'd love to see the Arrow Suspended Coaster added lol. Don't take away my Wolf nostalgia. 🐺

I'm curious if this also plays into the physics a bit, since the cars freely swing based on momentum. Would be really nice for them to figure out how to do that wholistically in a resource friendly way so that we can have it on slides, coasters, and water flume rides.

Basically they say 6000 guests is still the limit, and MAYBE they change it in the future. Same for custom audio and everything that it gets added in the future. Might be years down the line.

I dont really know if this is deserving of all the praise and thank you's unless we get like a timeframe. If it gets added next week or so or many years down the line is a huge difference

Maybe to calm down a bit is a good thing now. They communicated. They answered. They have to make sure this game will be a succsess. They are very busy at the moment, i believe. If someone has no patience, there is nothing you can change about it, but to be fair and wait for the delivering as promised. <3 I am totally sure it won't be years, even not months :)

I just like to know now that everyone is having to use the frontier workshop is the issue fixed where you have to go through all your subscribed blue prints page for page at each gamestart beause this is a serieus issue and has been on console for people that already used the frontier workshop, if you don't update your blueprints when there is an update then that blueprint is not available for you to use. See my example video on youtube, we been trying to ask frontier to fix this ever since the launch of planet coaster 1 on console https://t.co/pc47vCIWtO a simple update all subscribed blue prints button would solve this issue or if it would auto update all subscribed content would be even better.

Honestly I wanna be optimistic. But I will always pick the side of the paying customers (us, the gamers, especially PC players) above the company.

I dont think it's a decent communication. Many things still ignored. Other things just "yeah soon" but soon can be 1 week, 1 month or 3 years..

Theme Maker Toolkit was released over 2 years after the first game. So I would be surprised if it gets released within the first year for Planet Coaster2.

This is such a non answer. These things should have been included at launch. I really don't understand this.

Also, this is probably just me being nitpicky, but I absolutely hate it when companies want you to create an account for their platform/service/online goodies and whatnot. I'm not a fan of their Frontier Workshop at all.

I've been on the fence about purchasing, but I'll keep an eye out for further development.

Pleased that they've come out addressed some the issues after the reaction to the early access videos, it wouldn't have been needed however if they'd have had better comms throughout the development.

Interesting that the swinging coaster is no longer in the game which used physics, and they haven't really mentioned anything in that statement that says they're going to look at it in the future.

I also have concerns about this game.
However, I know I'll still have fun with it. And surely, that's what it's all about.
As for communication, it's been very different this time round compared to the first game. And I think that's been one of the main factors for the community getting so angry. We've felt ignored and frustrated and that's a bad combination.

This resulted in the online forums and social media, becoming a dumpster fire, getting to levels I've not seen since RCT World over the weekend.
Now people are complaining now that Frontier finally spoke out. Yes, it was late. No, there wasn't masses of information. it was a little like a politician answering, but there was also some amazing -bits in there.

I'm now excited for what this game is going to bring. I was getting worried.
I've been to Frontier Studios a couple of times and seen these guys at work. I know how much dedication and passion there is there.
It's amazing to see how much good feeling a tiny bit of communication generated yesterday afternoon compared to the general feeling in the morning.

So Frontier, more of this please. A little communication goes a long way. I know we're not going to get the levels of community engagement we got during Planco 1, but at least give the hype train a little shunt along the tracks.

:D 💙
