Checking jump range on remote ships.

Hi.

Is there any way to check a ship's jump range other than the one you're in? I'm mainly thinking of external tools, but in-game would be even better.

I thought Inara might do it but no it doesn't, although if you do want to make a note it gives you that ability so you can add that detail for your ships for later reference.

You mean, from your ship's cockpit or something?

You can see the jump range (and all other info) of every ship you own from any station shipyard, by clicking on the ship transfer tab and then clicking on the ship you want to know about.

If you use EDDiscovery you can check the jump range of every ship you own, regardless where it is stored, which ship you currently use or where you are. You can open the 'Ships Owned' list, select your ship and send it to Coriolis Shipyard. There you can check the jump range. It may be off a few tenths of ly, but not by much. It also shows correct ranges if your ship is engineered, but if the ship carries cargo, you have to think about that.
