I work with meerkats and they really like to climb on things or even jump on them to have a better overview ..so it would be nice to see this behaviour in the game cause it natural behaviuor and climbing and jumping are both in the game already so its a bit strange the meerkats cant do it

Aren't they also sometimes climbing on Trees? They also need to add Climbing for juvenile Komodo Dragons

They can to an extent, but are very clumsy and slow doing it, plus they won't dare climb very tall structures, so it makes sense for them to not have the current climbing animation for bears.I wonder if adult Polar Bears can climb
They dont really climb in trees mostly they use tree limbs, the highest point they where spotted was 30 feet (9 meter) on a tree limb..climbing a tree with leafs does not make sense cause they use the climbing to spot predators in the sky or on the ground, or other meerkats,that does not belong to their own gang to chase them away
Yeah this is why I'm not sure the climbing system in the game would work for meerkats. Perhaps some sort of elevated enrichment item would be better.
well we do have poles in the systeem they can use and platforms..if they set them on a height limit of 30-40 feet it would be realistic...or indeed make a limb for them or something like on the first picture i post as enrichment item
Not sure there is a height or depth limit to climbing and diving, which is why I thought an enrichment item to be used as sentry posts would be better.
yeah dont know that either, but yeah for me an item is also fine but meerkats and no climbing at all is really strange
