Clinical Trial Records... where to find?

I need this for sprint mod, have yet to find one... tried high tech/research .. so far no luck

Anyone have any luck with finding these and if so where?

Actually I have tried various settlements following this line of thought, Genetics, biochemical etc, in a attempt to just download, to no avail

Working 2 missions right now though that will give me 3 total. both missions found in a high tech system at a outpost port

I think that the download stations actually do "drop" valuable stuff. At least I think I've gotten some rarer data out of them. It should work similarly to the outcrops you hunt with the SRV, collecting raw materials.
The only problem is, you can shoot a hundred outcrops in an hour and something rare is bound to come up sooner or later. Visiting ground installations and downloading data from terminals can't really be done with such... cadence.

Well... i did go all Terminator on about 1 dozen Settlements, just walked in and starting killing everything in sight LOL.

This opened up about 24+ download terminals. maybe i was just unlucky and never got the RNG roll for those trials. did get lots of other nice stuff.

BTW... i think my fed rank dropped below 75% doing this... i stopped at 60%

Update...

Got my 10 Clinical Trials Records pretty quickly from this one system via missions (enough for 2 suit builds for the sprint mod.

Thought i would share the system and station, its a high tech named ELEDIT and the outpost was LAGERKVIST TERMINAL

I had searched the forums on this and only one person asked where to find and nobody answered... all other search hits were for Covid LOL

anyway happy hunting.

They're available from research data ports, commonly found in LAB and MED rooms.

But, much faster to obtain via mission rewards. Which is the same for all data for all engineer upgrades (thankfully). Clinical trials unfortunately seem to be a little less populate (so I don't recall seeing too many missions offering 5 of them) and I'm unsure why this is the case.
