We'll get there in less than a week at the rate it's going. Hell, if Premium Beta release goes well enough then we could be there today.

I might back soon, as well. The project is looking great. And while I haven't backed it yet, I've done my part in spreading the word. :D

SC has raised $45m from their 450,000 backers.

Its no surprise really since Frontier have been pretty low key in marketing the game compared to the aggressive approach CiG took when marketing theirs.

I think in a few years time the numbers of active players will even out and the majority of people who love these types of games will have both installed on their hard-drives at some point. There are no subscriptions so there's no disincentive not to try both games :smilie:

I totally agree, i for one will be playing both.

But at the end of the day i will only will only play one of them in the end.
I haven't the time or money to invest in both.

So maybe ED will end up being the one i play just due to the fact it will be released before SC and would have already have invested my time and money into it.

So ED will either have to be pretty crap and for SC to be pretty awesome for me to change.

I leave it in the hands of the dev's, one of um gotto be good or im buying a PS4
