Cloud Saves / All OS one purchase

I did a search but couldnt find an answer on the second part on the forums

I have two very powerful Mac's which run.. pretty much everything in Bootcamp. So I could buy ED early and play on the PC.. but my preference is of course my chosen OS, MacOS

If I buy ED when it comes out does that price cover all OS, like on Steam where you buy once and get for all OS, or will the ybe treated as asperate products?

Also, if it is one price, and I start to play, will my data be saved remotly or transferable so I can pick up my game on multiple machines / different OS versions of the 'client'?

If you will play ED Online, then yeah, your status will be saved on meta server so you will be able to play on different machines/OS versions.
