CMDR Customisation intems in store. FDev, Seriously?

You think this paywall is bad, take a look at EVE.
Their famous £75 monocle... They introduced a whole seperate currency for the character customisations, and made it so you could spend real world currency to buy Aurium to spend in the shop, but when you worked out the exchange, the cybernetic gold monocle for your character would have cost £75 of real world money!!! No that is a paywall...

I agree that paying for these customization seems petty, but as stated there is no-one forcing you to get these customizations, and let's be honest virtually no-one will ever see them outside of selfies.

Yes. I agree with everybody who says that nobody forces me to buy if I do not want to pay for it. That is completely true. I was just expressing my disappointment that such a stuff like Tattoos are only paid items. And as I said, I am supporting FDevs with every spare Euro I have by buying cosmetics.

But look at it from the other side. You have an option to customize suit with some free ones you already have, you can buy some for real money too. But I do not see any Tattoos that are free, I see only paid ones. I see logic behind that they are very cheap and affordable so thats why they are only avail in store. My disappointment is that such a cheap cosmetics should have been free or at least have some free ones and paid ones and because they are only paid items it looks like FDev is literally putting every possible cosmetics on store. I will say that again, I have no problem paying for cosmetics, because I do pay for cosmetics but FDevs have to look at it from other side too. If they gave us some free options and paid options for tattoos, I would probably not create this thread, ever.

Another thing is, this CMDR customizations are at the moment not really good marketing move, because the only place other players can see your so called identity is your bridge or other's bridge and I dont think many CMDRs really bother how you look. You can create screenshots and videos, thats okay but thats about it. If we had ability to walk, socialize with other players then it would be more logical move to put them in store. There is just not enough places others can see your identity to make such a customizations being put behind paywall more relevant at the moment.

I did not said ED's paywall is bad, I just said that it sucks that they literally put almost every possible cosmetics behind paywall and tattoos were just a one thing that pi**ed me off because they are paid only. For such a basic cosmetics as tattoos there should have been at least some free ones and paid ones for people who want to pay for some premium tattoos.
