I don't suspect they will take it too seriously. Open is full of pubbies, and pubbies are . C'est la vie.

They really need to add another filter on the galaxy map that show actual player influence in across the systems. I also went to the Sol area figuring it would be quite populated. Nope. After 2 hours of play I might see a handful of players, if that.

If you want to find commanders, visit some of the popular rare goods trade areas: Lave, Leesti, 39 Tauri, Zeessze, Altair, Leesti, Orrere, Diso, and Uszaa.
Also, you can visit whatever is the flavor of the week luxury goods trade hub, several thousand players per day move through those systems usually, as per the traffic reports.
At the the moment I believe the popular Luxury Goods system is Tenche.

Another aussie here. It's DEFINATELY a time zone thing. Try playing at different times if you can.
