However, I would like the Devs to really highlight the areas wanted tested this time around!

I for one would love to be able to buy in on beta. Have been playing since full release , put in many hours and have been kicking myself for not backing in the first place... fool. It would also be nice to chuck some more funding at fd for the games that has surpassed all others for me since release.

I do not believe it would be fair to those of us that bought the game early as well as those that backed it from kickstart to sell beta test access now when it was something we got for buying before release and therefore funding the game to be made. They likely will do it though as it would not be the 1st time they went back on what they said to make money

Do you have irrefutable proof that Beta access was an exclusive that would never be offered again?

You've misled yourself, at no point was it stated that they'd never open up beta to anybody else, they have in fact stated that it is a possibility.

Beta access shouldn't have ever been (or ever should become) a "premium" feature, it should be open to everyone to increase the chance of bugs, glitches, exploits, and crashes being found before release on the live server. Most people on there only go on to check out the new ships and such for a few minutes anyway.

World of Tanks, War Thunder, etc, have the right mindset on the matter.

It's a hangover from when you could get beta access before the game was out, now it is out it's just using the same system to allow people into the beta test system for new content.

Time for a change then. I'm sure backers will disagree since they want to keep their special features but in this case it's better for the whole community in general.

We'll blame beta testers it's buggy. I hope it's given a thorough test since it's a very large update to an essential part of the game.
