I would like to see better G-force overlays while building coasters for precise control of the forces. The heat maps are a good start but don't provide an accurate enough view for precise adjustments when building a coaster.
This would show G-Forces relative to the track so the user can see the current force graph of the new section as it's adjusted. This allows fine tuning of G-forces along the new piece of track. This would be a great help with visualizing the desired banking degree and many other areas.
Advanced features could "lock" g-forces so that the track would properly bend to produce the desired g-force. Zero-G hills are a perfect example of where this would be used, and could also be used for overbanked turns, heartline rolls, etc.
If there's some modding documents I'd be willing to give an overlay a try myself!
