Horizons Cobra MK IV fighter hanger?

Hey, guys I'm here to ask your opinion on something. I was curious if you guys think that the Cobra MK IV will have a deployable fighter? It is a pretty big for a small ship and it does look like the F63 Condore is small enough to fight in it maybe. I wanted your guys opinion so please let me hear :)

Yup, they are the only ships. It's been known for quite a while as the fighter launch hatch has been visible on the ships since they were introduced, the Anaconda had one as early as 1.1 I believe if not sooner...

In any case there may be future ships to add to those 7 like the Panther Clipper.

Short answer is tonnage and size, sure the Cobra IV or Asp is big enough to hold a fighter but that assumes a pretty much emtpy ship inside and with internals there's no way they can fit a fighter bay...

Also I have a hunch that the smallest fighter bay will be class 5. Class 4 (= 16 tons cargo rack) seems to little for a fighter, parts for spare fighters, and assembly unit.

Nah Cobra is a lot bigger, but with the hanger and all that the fighter does take a lot of room.

F63 Condor: 13.5L - 10.5W - 2.5H
Cobra Mk III: 27.1L - 44.0W - 7.9H

Well what do yah know? I based my assumption just on the scaling of the visual objects but there you've got the specs.

I find scaling is pretty hard to get a handle on in Elite. The huge cockpits throw off one of the main cues that people use to judge aircraft like vehicles. The Eagle for example, dwarfs modern fighter aircraft but you probably wouldn't know at a glance.

Crap, need to buy a ship I don't like.

Yep, so you can have a ship you don't like in the hangar bay.

Pardon my Photoshop skills, but here's my take on why cobra can't fit a hangar:

Plus I guess (from the glimpse on the inside of the hangar) the hangar is actually taller than two cobras stacked on top of each other. :)
