can't wait to see the result, sounds impressive.

i hope this will blow away the bad spirits:

it once saved a friend from suicide, so it should be powerful enough for a flue.

edit, the pic is broken have to, find a better version, on a backup, could take some minutes.

OK, despite working on the Space Sim Central animation, I'm still working on the Cobra and space station. I still want to do the animation of the cobra heading into the station and docking, so I've done some more work today on the station itself. It now has more detail on the sides and top, lots more bays inside and I changed the details on the front face where the docking port is.

I've also added a control room just above the entrance so that I can give the station some human scale, and make you realise just how big it is. It's got a viewing gallery, seats and control panels, but I'm not planning on getting too close to it for now. Here's a couple of pics of it, using a new Python model I just built in the style of the Cobra...

Hopefully there will be sound, certainy music in the final cut, but I dont know what yet. Finding decent sound effects these days is hard, since mobile phones came along everyone now sells sound effects and music rather than giving them out for free.

When I make the animation we'll see what it looks like and what it inspires, music-wise. We could be blindingly obvious and go with a version of the Blue Danube waltz?

i guess the vid will be short, the music should reflect it in it's dynamic too,
no matter what you choose a classical tune or a rave.
if i remember your plot right, a silent start, then suddenly something that makes you feel you would have to stand up or take distance.
personnally, but i only speak for me, i would choose a classical tune, but of course not blue danube, you don't wan't to send us to sleep, won't you?
something other i like is this, it's got far to less dynamic for the plot, but could be a good start
spacewarzopus you would have to open it with winamp or some else player, capeable playing back a protracker mod.
personnally i use it as title track for FFED3D and the length is fixed up by me to make it fit for, if you like to convert it to mp3 and use it for your FFED3D you would have to number the tracks in folder "space" to make shure it is track 18.
then it will be loadet allways as first track when FFED3D starts.
