What do you mean "if?" This is in the official screenshot and was talked about at length in the official monthly stream...
Anything you'd learn in the gaming industry is nothing is "for sure" until it's released. I'm sure it will be since they've posted info but the fine details matter. The fine details about the cockpit preference matters to me.

If they show the actual ingame model in a livestream like they did in the last and not just the concept art, it's a pretty safe bet that what you see is what you'll get. It's especially unlikely that they'd alter something as major as the layout of the cockpit after they've already shown it off and set a release date (nevermind the delay).

thank you Mephane.
Theorycrafting in my head, that looks very promising, I LOVE my iCourier, but can't quite get enough firepower in it. with 3 mediums and 2 smalls I could add the 2 small rails for Feedback Cascade that I cant fit in the courier atm (3 efficient PAs).

I wish there was a way to trial ships before buying. If it can run that loadout and is really manouverable, I'd happily pay rl money for it.

I'm pretty confident it can run that kind of loadout. I am current using 2 small and 2 medium focused pulse lasers, and 1 medium overcharge PA, and the power suffices when SRV hangar and fuel scoop are disabled (automatically through my module priority setup). But I guess it won't take long for it to appear on Coriolis so you can theorycraft that loadout in all detail. :)

Can someone please explain the attraction for this ship.? Aside from the fact that it has "Cobra" in the name, I see nothing that makes me see this as anything but just another average ship. I got the Mandalay, it is a unique design. But I see no really interesting characteristics to this ship.

Why do they keep adding new ships without fighter bay access?

I had the same question. Spending ARX on the ship than there are better pre-built ships to kickstart your Elite Dangerous career. However, this is an icon ship of the classic Elite Dangerous game, so there is the appeal there. It will be one that I'll wait the 90 days to buy with credits since I could use Christmas gifted ARXs on a better bang for buck deal.

Don't know if this is a good place to ask, but I'm wondering if anyone has a good link to a side-by-side visual comparison of the MK3 and MKV. My Google skills failed me, but I'm thinking someone must have done that, just for reference.

Its a Cobra

Its a small ship

Thanks for that answer. About the fact that it is a small ship. For some reason I had read that it was going to be a medium ship. knock myself on the head, oops. Now when comparing it to other small ships, I am thinking it could potentially be the best fighter of the small ships. It looks in the realm of the Vulture or Imperial Courier. Interesting.
