Cockpit icing effect, and other things I love

2) Sounds in general, and engine sound in particular. I really enjoyed the sounds in the alpha, from the HUD noises to the weapons and especially the engine. Oh, man, does the engine sound freakin' cool! It's so satisfying to push up on that throttle and hear those puppies roar to life!

That's what i LOVE the most with EliteDangerous ! It makes me feel as if i was evolving in a star Wars movie or something !
It can't be better... all my thumbs are up for FD !!

I love flying under the Anaconda and using headlook to look up at the belly of the beast, the level of detail is outstanding and the roar of the engines is great. There's a real feeling of scale and power in the game. Also in the same mission I had a near miss with one of my wingmen in his sidewinder and the woosh as he skimmed past made me rock back in my seat.

Imagine what it will be like when we get to fly down between the super-structures of those big cruisers! Granted I will probably be spending the majority of my time colliding with bits of it, but still, it's going to be fun! :)

I was going to start a new thread asking the question of 'how it feels?'
seems this kind of answers it, I've seen that the play seems smooth, ( I don't have alpha access) and the difference t hat flight assist off to being able to keep your nose on target is an absolute bonus.

when throwing the ship around have FD managed to convey a sense of mass to the vessel everything I've heard and seen of the alpha footage so far seems to put this across, would that be a correct assumption?
