LOL, I think you're great GluttonyFang, nice to see you keep going in the face of all this stuff. I must admit if I had more time to play I would love to join you guys, if it wasn't for the CODE this game wouldnt be half as fun.
Your appreciation will motivate us, as well, thank you.

I have found Code ships to be a pleasant addition to the Rare run in the Lave Cluster.
If they win the interdiction they get their prize and are good about it as they win more often than I do
Glad to see a sensible trader, you have my gratitude.

This is exactly why Elite is so broken as a multiplayer game. By allowing players to simply sidestep into solo mod at the first sign of trouble or to avoid any bit of gameplay that they do not like or find a difficult, has reduced the multiplayer roleplay element of the game to a farce....
Fd should have been smart enough to realize that most people will take the easy route out of any situation, even if it ruins there own and everyone elses experience.
The Code have taken on the role of Piratical Galactic scumbags and are doing a pretty good job of trying to bring so life and exitement into what is often a pretty barren game, why do so many people think this is a bad thing, IMO we need more people playing like Code just to spice it up a bit. If you want to avoid them then it should be acheived by in-game means, sticking to secure corporate systems etc, and not though artificial 'swap to solo mode' tactics....
Thank you for seeing the issue from our perspective.

I agree 100% with this, but as I said previously, whilst they can be so easily avoided by using the solo mode exploit then their activity became a bit of a farce, and there is little point saying that well if you want to take part then you can or if you don't then you have the coice of avoiding them because so many of us will choose to avoid them simple because it it human nature to get out of a situation in any way we can, it would actually enhance the experience if you couldn't get out of it.
I've even heard people complaining about the non-consensual element, well thats the whole point of piracy, it is non-consensual pirates won't stop and ask nicely if you mind them 'interacting' with you, and neither should they be expected to. As i've said before if you want to avoid pirates then stick to safe systems.
Being able to enter an Anarchy system, and avoid the danger by doing so in solo mode is just one of the craziest consequences of being able to mod swap at will.
Much appreciated.
