Codex and Unlisted Discoveries

Hi

I found some Bark Mounds at Struve's Lost Sector JW-W C1-7 1 A in the Inner Orion Spur, nothing special here, but there only one Bark Mound listed on the discoveries in the codex (about 5000ly from my find.
How does this work, do you have somehow to report the find ? Or just the ones listed counts for achivement ?

For everyone, only the very first find of a given type in the region is listed as a global entry on the Codex, as Reported.
Once you find something of the same type, you'll get a personal Confirmed entry.

If you are lucky enough to find something in the region that's a first, then all you need to do is use the Composition Scanner on it, and it'll be added to the Codex instantly. No need to go back to a station and sell anything.
