No, even within the same economy, stations can differ a lot. If you look at https://cdb.sotl.org.uk/specialisation you can see the variation in supply and demand levels once economy, population and BGS state is controlled for - some of them have really quite substantial ranges. Even without that - and in the bubble you're not going to have access to specialisation information - picking one with a high population and a favourable BGS state will improve things significantly.So, say, all high-tech stations will have commodity X stop at quantity Y? Good info to know so I don't go chasing larger values at another similar station in the future.
The ideal is to look for one where its ten-minute regeneration is over 1000t - though that's going to be rare for the more expensive goods - as you're always going to get a decent supply there no matter how many people use it.
