Colonia C 3 A

According to a freelance report in GalNet News:

"The Colonia Citizens Network has reported that fungal growths have been discovered on the airless world of Colonia 3 C A"

This piqued my interest, so I made 4 or 5 visits to the planet, to verify the claim. I cruised at an altitude of 4-5 Kilos in my Asp, and roamed the surface in my buggy. NUTTIN. I could not find anything at all, not even a blue POI marker on my scanner.

I did see one other CMDR cruising in an Anaconda, possibly with the same idea as mine. Has anyone found anything on C 3 A?

Isn't this referring to the fungus life somebody reported seeing? Looked like mushrooms growing on a rock, can't remember where I saw the picture. I think it was near a geyser, if that helps.

Ohhhhh boy, I better get out there and shoot it. Nothin better than shootin some new things! Woo!!!!

Sorry, couldn't help myself today. I'm not violent most of the time, I promise

Haha. I know you're borderline, but I doubt you'd shoot an innocent fungi. Maybe eat it?

They are there, I visited them earlier this week. However, I think the coordinates on the xbox are reversed compared to what they are on the PC, or at least they were for me. The coordinates are: 47.21 -174.16, for me the -174.16 was the uppermost number, while the 47.21 was the lower most number (on the screenshot taken by the commander who found them it was the opposite way around https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/303036-Fungal-Life-Found-on-Colonia-3-C-A). I didn't see a POI marker associated with them either, and for me I lost sight of them when I was between 3 and 4km up (I expect that this is down to the lower rendering distances on the Xbox compared to the PC).

Did anyone made a bug report of this?

I had the same issues with the Alien Structure.. took me 4 hours to realize the coordinates might be wrong.. when i reversed them, i found the site in only 10 minutes.

I also heard somebody complaining about this with the second alien crashed ship..

And now this.

Dang, I never even thought to check that forum. I should have done a search first. Thanks for this info @MissingSea.

Good point, Dusty.

Made the report.. Here

Well that was fun. I was able to land inside the canyon in my AspX, and I think an Anaconda could do the same. Then drive a short distance to the field of geysers. However, when I recalled my ship, it wouldn't come down to me, I had to climb the canyon wall to get to it.
