Colonisation settlements - No Oxford comma?

So, I've just completed my first station, and was planning on calling it 'Zoe's Rest' in honour of my cockatiel whom passed away mid-2023.
Sadly however, after paying for the name change with ARX, I discovered, I can't use Oxford Comma's.... So I'm either having to name it 'Zoes Rest', or -what it is currently-, 'Zoe s Rest'.

Why can we not use Oxford commas in our station names? I've seen them plenty common through my many years of playing??
I paid for this.... It's upsetting.

I think you mean the genitive (or possessive) apostrophe and they usually work perfectly well. Try copying and pasting from your original post.
Apologies for sounding pedantic - many English people get it wrong. It's often called the greengrocer's apostrophe following liberal and incorrect attachment to plural lettuce's and carrot's lettuces and carrots.

You could do with understanding what an "Oxford comma" actually is. Kind of ruins your complaint when you don't actually know what you are talking about. Mind you, I would have no idea how to write anything in Dutch so you have got me beat easily.

I would let you use one in a complaint about stations, outposts and settlements for example. ;)

I have heard it mooted that the ' should be abandoned from Modern English.
....

Maybe from English (Simplified) ... ;)

Tried to copy-paste Zoe's Rest into the game but no luck... it just shows up as 'ZOES REST'

Edit: also thank you to everyone on educating me to the proper wording of what ' is called :p

That's odd. I know there's no possessive apostrophe in German (or Dutch?), but assume the single quote (') is available on European keyboards (you've been using it after all). You could always try sending a query to FD at customer support: https://customersupport.frontier.co.uk/hc/en-us/categories/4404016831378-Elite-Dangerous.

Edit: There's always the ‘proper’ character to try and paste, the single quote right, although the difference is not very clear in this typeface and may not be available in the in-game font: Zoe’s Rest.
There are in-game names with apostrophes - it might be worth while trying to copy one of these (a new facility in the System Map), paste in the copied name, then use the arrow keys to edit.

I was able to use apostrophes in both Mongoose's Crater Bungee Centre and Mongoose's First Time. It may be an encoding issue where your specific kind of apostrophe isn't the right one.

Tried to even copy-paste it but it still doesn't shows up sadly.

You could try using the Unicode U+0027 character ( ' ) from your PC's character map (select and copy) in case it is just a matter of your keyboard utilising a different character.
Tried copy-pasting that but no luck...

I'm using a US-International logitech MX Keys keyboard...

I will raise a ticket with frontier support.

Love her work.

I used to regularly catch the Elle and Toni music videos, I suppose that is the same Elle.

Mind you, another way to get around it is to use another language.

Le repos de Zoé
But this sentence has three different meanings and the apostrophe (or lack of it) is key:

The sisters watch.
The sisters' watch.
The sister's watch.
