Event sequencers have an interesting, somewhat-hidden function where they can change the base colors of any scenery piece that's considered triggerable. This is a nice feature, but it seems very limited to me. Because this only works with triggerable items, the ability to change color is unfortunately restricted to a handful of animatronics and the special effects in the game (which I suspect the feature is mainly intended for.) However, the feature works perfectly fine with pre-animated objects like doors, fans, windmill blades, water wheels, etc. I really think this feature should get expanded to include many more items, maybe even full compability with any color-able scenery piece in the game. If that's too much, then we should at least be able to change the color on lights and other illuminated pieces, which currently do not have any functionality with the event sequencer. I made a few animations with the current color-changing pieces we have available to show how capable the effect is (linked below,) it's just unfortunately very limited right now.
