Colourable Water Jets

Since the announcement of the Summer update includes choreographic fire works, I was thinking why not add water jets that are also choreographic just like the fire works AND have something like a circular disk on the base of the jet and inside that disk will be different colored lights that light up when the jet is activated or trigger. Similar to the jets in the Disneyland California Adventure Park, more specifically the World of Color showing they have at night. Like so in the picture below.

*EDIT 2018* Colorable Smoke is now a thing! Awesome! However the main reason I started this post was to make more use of the water features of the game. They're great and all during the day but at night, the effects are just dark, almost black and even if you put a colored light beneath the Jet, it still wont light it. Which is why I'm asking to consider adding a Jet with some sort of light ring on the bottom that we can use to illuminate the water shooting out of it with any color we want to use and that the Jet can swivel to face any particular direction we set it to face at a time, and also be able to create a Nighttime Spectacular with it!

Oop, you right you right Jeweler. I also forgot to mention something like strobe lights, but that can always come another time :)

We can techincally do that now. It may not reflect off the water, but I think if the water and fireworks can be arranged, the other special effects like fire, smoke, etc. can be arranged as well.

But yes, colorable water would be awesome.

Can't you just place one of the colourable spot lights under the water emitter? I know them spot lights will reflect the color of the light onto any object that's in front, but I don't know whether the water in the game is coded as a solid object or whether it has some other properties.

Forgot to also add or mention...... water jets that can actually swivel in certain directions. Such as a fountain starting at a 45 degree angle and can slowly rotate to the opposite 45 degree angle, so from left to right, vice versa.

Sounds like a good alternative to particle effects reacting to light, as I have a feeling my computer would want to kill itself if that really was the case [wacky]

Agree completely. Didn't include this with my first ever thread covering the pyrotechnic and show-control side of things, but I couldn't agree more.

I will say though, that I hope Frontier develops a better workflow for their UI so that implementation of that many fixtures is actually doable. Incidentally, intelligent lighting (moving heads) would be a nice add-on to complement this.

YES YES YESSSS!!!
(I hope the Frontier Devs in charge of PC see this because if this is added into the game it would be the BEST!!)

Personally i would love to see this in a larger picture ... Fireworks and Watershows were quite popular in RCT3 and largely requested for Planet Coaster.

Since we already got the fireworks and sequenser i hope we are able to have watershows as well. Which might include colorable water jets, varying jet heights and moving jet's :) (Yes, basically just requesting what we had in RCT3 in a PlanCo flavour :D )

I noticed that the particle effects on the water jets seem to reflect the light from the skybox which is why you can see them in the day but its hard at night. Colourouble water jets would be amazing and I would absolutly love to create water shows for nighttime displays!

While I feel this would be possible, if not a big improvement would be that if water effects just reflected the daylight skybox during the night just so they could be seen.

YES! Coloured and movable jets would be amazing. Being able to vary the height of the water from a single jet would be ideal. A water sprayer like what they project on in Fantasmic would be good to provide backgrounds ect. I really want a platform to raise and lower animatronics e.g rise the witch above the water when she is needed and lower when she is defeated.

Love it!

Coloured water and coloured smoke and rotating/moving special effects (flames, oil, electricity rods) and of course, water [up]
