I just returned home and guess what someone did!!! No clue how that one knew which faction I meant and it most likely might have been just a random Player but if not: many many thanks from my side! [heart] The best returning home gift!
And even better: In the neighbourhood are wars. Not the ones I am really interested in but it will do it. :)

Thank you for inviting me, and thank Progenitor Lovell Lang for being so generous. I hope I haven't bankrupted your faction. I never thought it would be possible, but I love to show that the impossible can be done. Today, I earned a billion credits in a day. In fact 1,027,000,000cr to be exact. Add that to the 146 million last night, means they've given me 1,173,000,000cr so far. My head is spinning now.

Wow, and here I was feeling all fat off the land with my 200+ million earned. That's incredible! What are you doing combat in? I'm in an anaconda with a pair of fighters (Condor with fixed plasma and iFighter with fixed beams). My pilot is "dangerous".

Just logged in and see The Foundation is up to 11% system influence and Jet Family is sitting at a miserable 0% Awesome! [yesnod] You all are a force to be reckoned with[yesnod] However, and please forgive my noobness with the background sim stuff, but with Bran's Foundation's new found influence, doesn't that put them right into conflict with Quince Galactic or Quince Citizens at the next tick? Not complaining, these merc missions are great! just curious how it works and what to expect. Thanks

I was using my 4000Mj Corvette. It's invincible. You can relax shooting a chaffing darting Viper while six NPCs are firing on you from behind.

I did some calculations. I'm not sure how long I spent away eating, making tea, feeding the cats, etc, but an estimate says I was making about 75 million an hour. It would have been more if I didn't keep getting the black screen of death and the connection errors. After I ranked up my rep, I only took the missions that paid more than 10 million. For one trip (about 40 minutes), I got 137 millioncr. Another got me 118 million, though most were around 50 million. 19 trips in total. About 15 hours play time.

I only intended playing for a couple of hours, but when I saw that the billion target was on, I had to rise to the challenge.

You too with the black screen of death? It's consistently nocked me out every time. That and the occasional crash to main menu and full CTD, but the black screen of death is the worst!
Corvette eh? I've got the credits but nowhere near the rank.
Just logged on. Still have 30 ships and 3 missions left but War is over and they're in ceasefire. What can I do about it? Glad you asked. Like any merc worth his/her salt, I am attacking them in ceasefire zones.

Seems the war is over. The Foundation has a shiny new planet base. Myself and many others were well paid for our time there. Sir Bran, thanks for the open invite, you have a nice little star system there. I am now off to meddle in other parts of the galaxy that I probably ought not to. Just one thing; While I was in Quince I did take a little tour and was shocked to see that you have a "NEW" America! :eek: What happened to the old one?

I have eleven kills left on a 14 million slaughter mission. I'm dropping into the cease fire zones and killing one or two at a time, but having an entire CZ on me at once means even my resistant, boosted SCB spamming, SLF spewing, purple laser shooting anaconda can't stay in it long.

Aww ceasefire? Damn peacemongers ruining things for everybody lol.

Oh well, 250 M cr earned, worked on my combat rank and I finally remembered how to fly my ship properly. I was really out of practice. That was a fun couple of days. Looks like The Foundation got a good influence bump so don't hesitate to call if war breaks out again. o7

That was surprisingly, insanely profitable. What were people complaining bout the mission system for again? ;)

I think I might leave the FDL here for next time, though the 2 million transfer cost paid for itself within about 10 minutes!

Thanks to everyone for the hard work. It's been a fantastic war for everyone and of course should anyone try to take our nice new planetary base away from The Foundation I will let you all know and once again come running to the best community in gaming! :D
