combat the combat loggers

No I haven't captained a T9 I am currently sat in a python as I work my way up. And my argument still stands if I know I am going to be interdicted regularly by players I jump into a trade clipper so I know I can get away, or I go and trade in a low player density area.

Also with your argument of people not wanting to follow you around, why not? They get 5% of whatever profit you make at no cost to you. And they could load up themselves on similar/same cargo.
For example you make an easily attainable trade route of around 3k profit per ton, 500 cargo = 1.5Mcr so their share of that for free just for being there in your wing at the station you sell at gives them 75000cr not including anything that they themselves are selling.
If in a trade/fighter clipper or python say atleast 200 cargo they carry at 3k/ton profit their cargo hold is worth 600k profit on top of the 5% it gives them for being with you.
Also you get 5% of whatever they sell at no cost to them either so everyone wins.

For me I see no reason to play in solo. You adapt or you perish. It would be like saying "I don't drive on the roads in case there is a drink driver that might hit me" or "I better not swim in the ocean ever because I know there is a shark SOMEWHERE in the the sea"

Lol trade clipper? Trade python? Sure son I'll do that.... And increase the grind by 3x. Basically you're saying we all must sacrifice, to appease the needs of agro players. Play open that's cool. I'll play solo and will continue to tell others to do the same, to fight combat logging and to maybe get FD to see that solo players want PVE and private. How to solve combat logging, easy PVE\private, if players log they're forced to PVE for a period of time, and after being in the friendly PVE environment, they will stay even after their ban, because playing WITH others is far more fun than against others. Look it up the largest player base on PC is MOBIUS. Which is PVE. But telling a player they can't fly a t9 cause there's players aground that are straight agro is just plain ..... I'll leave that out.

Don't log folks!!! Play solo. Join the PVE revolution!!

and lets call the game elite competent ...how to solve the issue take it away

do you combat log in other games just curious say in cod /battlefield etc?

Me? Not really a CoD person but I have played Battlefield in the past. I guess as you mentioned BF then Destiny and the Halo franchise are also comparable? Would I quit a game to avoid a single death? Of course not. If for example I joined a game in progress to find 'my' team seriously behind on points and without a chance of catching up before the timer expired, would I quit? Of course I would. What would be the sense in remaining in the game, why would I waste my time?

But, all the above titles are dedicated to PvP (mode dependant, of course) and aren't really a fair comparison. I would be joining a game expecting direct competition, that being the sole point of joining it.

You obviously have no clue why they named it dangerous. But its cool looking outside the box is difficult for most, as is common sense. Thanks for your two cents.

"Elite: Join the official forum and every chance you get, use this game's title in an attempt to look superior, win an unwinnable argument and / or troll people!" ... wouldn't fit on the box. It is snappy though.

It is a MMO space sim that includes PvP elements. Happy? People should know what they buy, combat loggers didn't read up on it clearly.

Ey who is acting childlike now? Strawmen and all. Could it be unwinnable arguments exist? I belive they are called facts.

Error... have a word with yourself and once you've finished, have another. Your uncanny knack of missing the point is beginning to grow tiresome.

What point? That just because a game is called something doesn't mean it has to represent it or something? Or is it that you think that people use the fact to look cool?

If a simulator was placed in the first person shooter genre it would be a first person shooter?

If it is the latter why wouldn't you think it is because it is a good argument?

But you are the one that refuses to point out the point you are trying to make so at the very least it could make me feel stupid.

You have missed my point entirely, and you are treating this game as a grind. If you are already flying around in a T9 I am guessing you have enough millions of cr to afford rebuy and multiple loads of cargo and your argument falls flat.

When I myself get to the credit amount needed for a T9 or tradeconda I will continue to play in open and probably still see no other player as I use trade routes that aren't populated, however if a psycho/pirate does show up I won't baulk at the idea of "omg another player I better only play in solo now!".

This game, which is what it is, a game. Comes with the risk of human aggression, it adds a layer of >difficulty< that isn't found in most pve environments, and when it is found in them is either laughably easy to steamroll or impossibly difficult that you can't avoid. This however offers the best of both, I can steamroll the NPCs or find where I have substantial risk, and that to me was enjoyable. If I do come across some player psycho/pirate archtypes I will enjoy the experience, if it sets me back so what? I have no reason to "combat log" or play in solo because every encounter for good or ill is enjoyable and why I will continue to play this game long after your "grinding mentality" has forced you to burn out of the game.

If I fly without insurance that is my own risk and if I get thrown back into a sidey so be it. I will still be in a better position than a new player as I still have my knowledge of what I enjoy and what I can do to earn my ship back, not by grinding but by enjoying the muti faceted gameplay available to me.

I could be mining, trading, bounty hunting, fighting in a civil war, doing Power Play, running missions for the federation or empire to get promoted in their navies, or find some other players and hang with them doing the above.

The beauty of this game is that it's a massive sandbox with more to do in it than what GTAV ever had to offer (bearing in mind GTA was a massive AAA game with a ton more money thrown at it and cost nearly twice as much for the consumer to purchase), playing with just friends or in free play.

Also to the people in solo play indulging in Power Play, great job, thank you for making what is primarily a pvp opt-in even more barren in terms of open play candidates. I haven't seen a single other player in open doing any powerplay at all.

TL/DR: there isn't one.

If it is a "PvP opt in" why does Li Yong Rui(exploration power) and Edmon Mahong(trading power) exist? Because PvP is only one possible way to interact with it that's why.

EDIT: Also the "Old Hag Patron Saint of Miner's"
