Coming back re-energized, what I miss? Tharg content.

So I left the game as the Stargoids approached (for various reasons). I'd peaked taking out Cyclops which was a lot of fun until it wasn't, but never managed a Basilisk without visiting rebuy. So that's my level. I have a reasonably cool running and fast Krait already.

Coming back in I want to enjoy the war content before it goes or changes. These are the things I've gleaned that have appeared since I last played - the main content outside NHSS, rescue, grinding tissue etc. What I'm asking for is: have I missed anything major here?

(new stuff to do roughly in order of percieved difficulty)

1. fighting inteceptors around cap ships ( to loosen me up)

2. investigating Barnacle matrix sites, foot-based collection and taking out Revenants

3. investigating Thargoid Spires, foot-based collection and taking out Orthrus.

4. Entering a Maelstrom, taking out caustic generators, finding the Titan, surviving and fighting glaives & scythes, and escape (need caustic sink launcher, remove Guardian tech)

5. Extracting Bio-Storage Capsules and escaping e.g., via using the Maw, handing in at rescue megaship (need subsurface extraction missiles)

Cheers in advance! - CMDR Tannhauser

Unless you're lucky, this isn't really a thing you can do on command. On rare occasions a capital ship will show up unannounced at either ground settlement or large starport CZs if the owning faction is aligned to the Empire or Federation, but otherwise there are no fixed locations / POIs where you can find them.

Maybe it was settlements? I know there's a scenario where Interceptors turn up and can be attacked without it being 1:1 on a solo (not Solo) player.

There are plenty of places NPCs will join the fight (not that they're much good for anything other than cannon fodder), but the capital ships are very uncommon.
