Well I got my backing in late after the kickstarter, so by that time "Powell" was taken, so I got in as "Powelll" - I guess I'm really a 'faux' Powell.

Eschewed a joke NPC name to get my real one in, Steven Williamson.

Looking forward to mainly exploring the Elite universe for undocumented systems, easter eggs, and of course unstable planets which may endanger future human colonies.

Hmm, I think something is starting to short out in the rear panel of my seat...........

Any names with 2 or more parts should have at least one iteration of it in full as given. It can also be split for random use elsewhere but as long as I know "Nevyn Swiftarrow" is 'out there, somewhere' I am happy.

Where do we stand regarding our player names? Should we choose a 'first+last' name combo and then the two will be split up when it comes to being used in the naming database?

not sure if i will ever post on the forums but as for a list of commander names.

mines Rich W Lem < tryed to come up with some others and eatch time got rejected , but hey finally got though after all these months so im happy i got a approval .

Despite several questions from forum members, I don't think FD have ever confirmed one way or the other. They seem to be keeping the answer to themselves.

I have chosen two first names for my NPC name and hope they will/may be split but if not, then the names can go together fine.
