The upper panel in the cockpit view often (pretty much every session) falsely shows that I received a new message. It start out ok, but at some point while I'm playing it starts showing a number.
This doesn't happen with the Inbox (that appears to work properly), only the chat notification. I look thoroughly, making sure to inspect any and all tabs in the chat area and scroll through the list of chat messages top to bottom, but there is no new message. Going through all the messages there does not serve to remove or clear the number notifier.
This notifier will show anywhere from 1 to 8 (not ruling out any other number, mind you), depending upon who-knows-what.
Is this common? Am I missing something, or is this a bug?
