Community Challenge - already reached

I pulled up my Franchise last night, Tuesday in USA, and the challenge was already finished. I can't complain too much, I did contribute a couple of elephant releases on Monday night (CST timing) shortly after the challenge started. But it was only a few 2 or 3. So I can understand how people cold contribute quickly if they already had the elephants in their zoos. I guess I'm just astounded at it being done about 1 day after starting. I am still planning oon contributing a few more, if I pull up my franchise and the calves age up to adulthood.

Yea I just turned mine on for the first time this week and was very shocked it was already done..

Not sure if you get the rewards for contributing after the total is reached so don't think I'll bother wasting my time..

AFAIK you can participate in the challenges and get the rewards until its counter is 0:00.00

I've already quit the whole community "challenge" thing. Where's the challenge if they just lower the number if we aren't going to make it and if they set the numbers stupid low. Game has nothing that could be considered a challenge.

There's no variation in the challenges. if you don't care that much about an outfit - it's a waste of time.
Maybe if you want to gain a lot of CC, it could be interesting to sell Indian Elephants.
(prices are higher than usual)

Releasing 24 expensive animals for this outfit (the first one i dont like), is a bit too much..

This week was definitely a huge achievement on behalf of the community! We set the numbers based on data and projections, and sometimes even the cold hard facts are blown out of the water for a cool reward that being said, we are planning some more variations for community challenges - we'll post about that on the forums soon!

And yes, you can still get the reward even if the goal has already been reached.
