Community Challenge Rewards

Hi all,

I recently got back into playing and a few friends and I recently completed the Zebra community challenge and got into the top gold tier, however we have not received any animal rewards since its completion. Do the Community Challenges no longer give out rewards for contributing as they used to do? Or are they delayed until the next challenge is active? It's been a while since my last community challenge so I don't remember when they were awarded.

I've also read on another site people saying they've played the challenges in the last few months and also not received the completion tiered rewards... so if this is true and not a glitch, is there really any point to even helping to get the challenge to 100% anymore?

It seems like no one gets the reward animals anymore. I also participated and bred over 80 gold-rated zebras and got no gift animals at the end. I believe it must be a glitch. Or, as you say, if it's intentional, what is the motivation for trying to get 100% of the goal?

I'm hoping it isn't intentional and is a glitch, however this isn't the first challenge to be effected. I also bred way too many zebras in a zoo specifically for the challenge. This is my second challenge to do without rewards. I agree, there is no motivation to get the goal to 100% without the rewards. Honestly the rewards are the only reason I play the challenges.

Well it's been over a week and the new challenge started and no rewards granted. I don't think I'll be participating in them at all anymore.

Yeah, not sure what the point is if there's no reward anymore. Not sure why they'd stop. Surely it's not costing them real money to give out virtual animals.

Recently the all gold animals challenge finished 100%, hoped it was one to compensate for the lost challenges, but with 125 contributions I still dont get any reward.

Looks like they have fixed and backdated the challenges, right back to the first ones that went wrong over the Xmas/New Year holidays.

I just logged into my latest zoo ( which I know I had got a fair number of animals in the latest challenge ) to see if I would get a reward and it went through each one and gave me the rewards where they were due. A total of 7 or maybe more ( if I missed their boxes coming up ) reward animals.

Are the rewards distributed when you hit 100% or when the challenge ends for everyone? And is it automatic or do I have to click something?

Usually when I go onto one of the zoos that I contributed on, after the event is over and they've triggered the completion rewards, you should get a window come up with your rewards.
