Community live stream today

There is no editing in live streams, otherwise they are just recorded videos. That is why I said that Frontier should have given them some time to play it before streaming, so at least they could have done some planning. BTW, I am glad that it isn't the quality of his other live streams.

My reaction was based on your comment about his regular streams and videos, and how you didn't understand how he had so many subscribers. I thought it was a little disrespectful, that is all.

It was not meant as being disrespectful, it was meant as a critique of what I saw yesterday. Possibly I came on a bit too strong, but I ended up turning it off early because of the let down. I really don't blame any of the builders, it just looks like they weren't given any time to prepare and from a marketing standpoint I think that is a shame.

they did say yesterday at least that they had a little bit to play with it before they went on but it probably wasn't enough time

I'm not too interested in the live streams, they were fine as a filler to hold me over, but I was expecting more "reveals" or announcements... Although, I do think it is cool that Frontier has included some of the player/fan base with their streams and I hope they continue to do so and possibly improve HOW they go about it. This was clearly a first time and new experience so I just cant wait for the blueprint sharing to begin!

I suppose it's difficult to get a good balance here. It's good to see how these people go about playing, but they can't play the game properly without having had a lot of time to practice. Still, I'd rather have these streams than not have them. You can see how the game is looking.

Hi friends,

Thanks so much for joining us during the livestreams. We've been having a really busy but fantastic time over here at gamescom, and we've really enjoyed meeting some of the most amazing community members, both in person and on the streams.

The community streams are all about showing off a wide variety of different content creators and play styles. We have some of the best community creators joining us like Silvarret, Rudi, and De Lady Signer, as well as some who prefer to take a more fun approach.

One thing that's for sure is that we are really proud to be able to play Alpha 3 before the game is released, both to the many people here at gamescom and also all of you joining us from home.

We do think it's important to make sure that we give every content creator 100% support and enjoy the builds for what they are: a fun, creative, and original way for the community to come together during an exciting milestone in Planet Coaster's development.

It's clear from the thread that everyone has their own preferences in the way the game is played or shown, but the one thing we have always been so blown away by is the fantastic, supportive, and tight-knit community that Planet Coaster has. We would always hope that anyone, whether they be a fun-loving casual gamer or a master builder, gets the same warm and supportive welcome that we have come to know from the Planet Coaster community.

Have a lovely evening and sit tight for the awesomeness we will send your way tomorrow [heart]!
