Compare Mates - would you find a location filter/indicator useful?

"Compare Mates" is obviously an essential facility for people interested in breeding.

For some reason I find it awkward to use, because all potential mates are included in the choices, whether they are in the Trade Centre or in any habitat (some of my species occupy two habitats for breeding purposes).

This inclusion of all potential mates, wherever they are located, is sometimes useful, but sometimes the opposite.

It would be useful if you could tell Compare Mates to focus on only one location, or alternatively tag the selections so that the location of each animal is indicated in some way (Trade Centre or a particular habitat)..

My clumsy workaround when I have a problem is to move all the animals from the habitat to the Trade Centre, sort 'em out there, and then move the ones I want back into the habitat. It works for me, though.

Other people use naming conventions on animals to indicate habitat to make Compare Mates a bit easier.

This would indeed make finding mates much better in that a player would know if an animal was already breeding or in the trade center waiting.

Love this! I definitely still want to be able to compare all the available animals, in case I want to move them around. But having some way to sort or limit when desired would be really helpful. I can't even begin to name all the times that I've thought I had a good match, only to discover that one of the animals is already paired elsewhere, and thus have to start the comparisons all over again.

I do use the naming conventions (admittedly, not always as consistently as I should), but since you can't easily rename animals that are currently in the trade center, I've sometimes run into problems there as well, particularly after I've been on a buying spree. LOL!
