I saw it earlier and I love the detail!
Just open Zbrush and send the model to the team [haha][haha][haha]
I didn't want to say it but this is the exact reason i don't want Frontier to spend time on developing support for UGC in till the game has been on the shelves for a few months.
Look how much attention to detail has been put into just one character. Look how much passion every single bit of this game oozes.
While others are spending time on allowing UGC instead of making their base game look and play amazing.
Planet coasters base game is going to be next to none.
Sorry to do rail the thread a bit but i think this video is a great example why we need to let frontier concentrate on building the best base game they can. And then think about UGC when the game has been out for a while.

This fear is 100% irrational.
The team is not constituted with one person, but certainly several working groups.
Asking "Feature A" does not mean they stop working on "Feature B".

I completely understand this.
But that doesn't work in the real world.
There are only X amount of people on the team. So to start an extra portion of the game would require people being taken away from other things or more people being hired.
Please don't think i don't want UGC. I have been gaming on PC for over 20 years so know how much UGC can improve a game.
I just think that 100% of the attention should go on the base game in till launch.
Frontier are not gonna launch the game and then forget all about it. UGC should be what they do after the game fully complete so 100% attention can be spent on getting it right.
Am i wrong in thinking we will also be able to visit other people's parks, ride their coasters ect?
If this is the case how will i see UGC in other peoples parks?
That will require me having the same UGC installed!
I want UGC but not launched with the base game.
100% attention on the base game till launch then 100% attention getting UGC right when the game is out.

I really need to stop to defend the interests of the community for a while, and just wait and see, by trusting Frontier more.
Let's say, I'll be less active on this issue until I saw what answer they will give us, that's all [big grin]
And yeah, in Frontier (I will try to) trust !
(Okay, I maybe have trust issues with games companies, experience taught me to be suspicious and sadly, often with a result [rolleyes])
Uh wait, did you, or did you not have the Early Bird? Cuz if you have, that shows you trust Frontier with 70,-

Top marks again Frontier. Just loved seeing the guy being used as reference for the animation. I know we've seen that a few times, but that attention to detail just blows me away.
The thing that worries me though is that I used to just people-watch in my RCT3 parks and those peeps did hardly anything compared to the PC ones. It was really rewarding watching them respond to your creations. Now with how much detail and personality has gone onto the PC guests, I'm scared that I'll build something and then get so caught up in watching them, I'll never leave the house again.

Its actually nice to see a lot of people defending what they want without resulting to being rude and name calling ect.

... But ... Sometimes, I trusted others game companies, and even if the developpers were dedicated, and I was too, but a single bad decision by a stupid guy at the top and BOOM. Game over ! So yeah, i'm suspicious now about who makes decisions (especially economic and marketing)
Business leaders sometimes forget that a good product that meets the needs of customers and sells well in the long term, is more valuable than a product that quickly filled the coffers in the short term. Sometimes they just check some numbers on financial reports and forget their real profession.
But this is my fear based on experience, and it's totally, completely, absolutly, off topic [haha][haha][haha]

Not necessarily. Depending on what system they have for accessing other's parks-like a 'cloud' or something-you should be able to see everything as long as it is supported by the game's engine.
