Confirming a bug or no?

Mining with seismic charges and did a good job so I proceed to clean off the surface thingies with the shotgun thingy , all going as planned when I come to one I can target but no matter what angle or how many time I blast it nothing pops off?

This happened at with nearly every roid I cracked open , always one or two I can target but can't shoot. Is it a bug?

You're not crazy. I've seen this too. Thought I was doing something wrong but didn't pay much mind to it because I don't do that much mining. But I'm with you, point blank, straight on, it just wouldn't extract that patch of goodie. Happened on several asteroids, and then other ones it worked fine. Just my 2 cents.

Check it's hull%. if it's not 100% you already shot it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the little icon that shows whether it's a surface or a subsurface deposit changes from blue to orange when extracted.

Check the local area we had this last night and the fragments had spawned about 3k from the asteroid segments.

Same here. Regularly can't dislodge a surface deposit from its crevice. Like you said, it occurs almost once per asteroid.

I experienced something like this when mining with other players, the fragments would spawn several km out.
