Conflict Zones in Jera and Durius.

I traveled down to Jera from Durius last night hoping to find better hunting grounds (with a 280k+LS journey to the nearest Conflict Zone, plus very limited station facilities in-system, Durius is not exactly ideal for privateering). Alas, there was nothing going on at all on arrival.

HOWEVER on logging back in this morning I checked the System Status panel and found that Jera Social Democrats & Jera Nationalists both had the "Civil War" tags! It had vanished the next time I looked, but perhaps this means they are on the cusp of war breaking out again?

I'm going to continue running missions for the Nats in the meantime, and hope things warm up soon.

2 High Intensity and 1 Low intensity zone in Darius near the stations (you have to fly towards stations to see zones). For the Empire

Had no trouble in durius.
Found 5 high intensity and 1 low intensity
When i joined the high intensity zone.
An Imperial Majestic Class Cruiser backed the Empire :p

Albeit i played on open.
After an fight with an enemy Viper that guy ran for over 80km before i finally managed to kill him.
Good thing i took his FSD

Think it was an player.
Or an really strange npc xD

Yeah, I've played both... gave up on WoT real quick tho... didn't like the whole mixed-armies concept (and the arcade feeling of it).
War Thunder is much more fun, and it lets me choose if I want to play arcade or more "hard core" nation vs nation. (or something inbetween).

I've had that happen on very very rare occasions when interdicting NPC's... They just decide to run with standard thrusters, sometimes even without me damaging their FSD...
Had one cobra slowly (very slowly) outrun me once... I couldn't keep up with him even with my booster since the Adder isn't as fast as the cobra, but with boost you can almost keep up with one running at "normal" top speed.

But he just kept going and going and going... until I finally couldn't target him any more.

Wierd that.

Doesnt make a Difference if you Kill an Sidewinder or an Anaconda.

Wasted all that Ammo on an Anaconda and it gave me 3k Credits.

If you take "War zone" missions at the stations you get more than twice as much for the kills.You can have missions from more than one faction, but the kills count on both contracts 8)

How did you even find the conflict zone in Durius? When I went to Durius, the system wasn't even discovered yet. I am currently in the process of exploring it for you fine folk.

As Bounty Hunter its Paramount to have an Discovery Scanner Around.
I dont actually scan the Celestial Bodys.
But I can use it to find my way around.

Thats working well enough for me *gg*

In Durius now and there are conflict zones there. Jera the war is over and the Empire lost which is why I made my way to Durius to help the Empire there.

I'm in and around the Durius system ever since the conflict escalated in this tiny poor system...in fact, when I 1st read about Durius, I left Sorbago, as that conflict there just ended.
I scanned the entire system, so in theory all data should be available since a week or so.
There's a good high-tech system in the neighbourhood....something like NLTT <random#>, with a station called Xin Hub.

So far, cmdr-wise it's been a lonely job. I never see other cmdrs in Durius.
Guess the initial 280.000LS travel time (~10mins) in SC puts most players off.
But once you get to Fourier Retreat, or Durius C1, distances between events are relatively short.

Upon entering Durius, I always do some hunting at the local navbeacon, before heading off to Fourier....but for a system "at war", it's dead quiet at the nav (?).

Yesterday evening, it was the 1 st time that I didn't see the Cap Ship respawn at the conflict zone near Durius C1.
Maybe the conflict is about to shift?
Saw news about Sorbago, which seems to indicate that things are about to get nasty again, so I think I'll leave Durius for now.

theres still bugs with the influence system, so while its good for combat, all youre efforts are in vein until frontier actually give us the ability to change ownership of a system thro out actions

I've been making regular trips to the war zones in Durius, I now make it a policy to bug straight out if I see more than 1 enemy cmdr! Previous 2 times I didn't I got hounded down & annihilated in no time!
Funny thing is, since then I've only seen 1 other time when they've been cmdrs & they were all alies :).

Down with the evil empire & their loan sharks!
