Connection loss: please don’t notify me!

Yea, I get it.
There is an issue and I am supposed to know.

But really, as long as you guys have such immense troubles to maintain a stable internet connection and said connection breaks every other minute (or even second!) and re-establishes immediately after, I really don’t want to be interrupted every single time by a notification that states exactly this (which I have to click away) and then be confronted with the ‘Pause Menu” which also displays that I am offline - and I also have to click away.
Only to find out seconds later, that I am online again and everything runs smoothly ... until the next connection loss!

Why not limit this important notification to occasions where it really matters?
If opening the animal trade menu, for example. Or when saving (if the cloud is used).
And even then, a simple warning would be enough, without the need to click on a button to proceed.

TL;DR: Please, for the love of all animal spirits, don’t interrupt a perfectly fine game session with - at this very moment - completely irrelevant and double confirmation requiring pop-ups!

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean.
The zoo should be perfectly playable unless you try to access the server, e.g. when buying or selling an animal e.c.t.?
Then would be the perfect time for a notification.

But why is it necessary to interrupt me when placing a rock or renaming a habitat?
In both cases the current action is canceled and has to be started anew after confirming the connection loss.
I don't know about you, but I was majorly annoyed after it happened the third time in a row.

It was my understanding that you were not able to play in franchise mode - at all - if there was no connection, hence it putting the pause screen up.

I don't think so.
I might be wrong very well, but I believe that after the notification cascade, the status was still 'offline' for a while and I was able to continue playing nevertheless. I always thought that the game re-connected secretly in the background

I haven't been able to play at all when it states I don't have a connection, the 'resume' button is grayed out until I have a connection again. It would be nice to be able to still do things when the connection drops, but I thought you couldn't even play franchise mode without internet.

Very possible.
Maybe my connection simply re-establishes very fast so I was lead to this false impression.

Anyway, the constant connection losses got so annoying that I abandoned ‘Franchise’ mode for now and shifted my game towards ‘Challenge’ mode.
Gawd, just imagine how it would have been, wouldn’t they have added an offline mode. And it is not my internet connection that is lacking ...

I imagine the game needs to keep an online list of your animals and births to make sure you don't hack the stats and sell cheated animals on the market.
