Console Profile Transfer Portal | Has Re-Opened!

I was contacted by support on my ticket and informed that they had made more changes to the transfer process. I was able to complete the transfer but not with the name that I had previously 'reserved' on my new PC install before I 'cleared' the save. I was able to find a CMDR name close enough though so I'm happy.
Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this.
I would like to transfer my account from XBOX to PC. The lack of storyline, CG's and any further updates has made the gameplay quite stale.
However, I'd still like to be able to play on console simply to finish the achievement GRIND that was given to console players. I hate unfinished games. I'm so very close with only a few remaining achievements left but the math on the CQC rank achievement alone has me playing(?) for several weeks more at least.
Frontier Support uses this phrase in the Account Support page, "If you choose to do this, the original CMDR will remain playable on console and the new PC CMDR will be a copy. Only one profile may be copied over per copy of the game."
I feel I know the answer, but I'm looking for confirmation. Am I reading this correctly? Will I still be able to continue to play on console after transferring my account to PC? I don't want to initiate the transfer only to find out I locked myself away from completing the game on console. I would wait until I finished if that's the case. The word "transfer" is what's making me want to double check.

Your console CMDR will be left intact and fully playable, it is a clone.
Some people have done the 'transfer' and continued playing their console account, just in case they choose to purchase a PC down the line.
I did the Transfer in Sept and kept playing on PS4, not touching the PC account til October due to the storyline on PC Live and nothing happening on Legacy PS.
Even now when I fire up ED on PS4, its where I left it and my FC is at Xinca (for Tritium), where if I need to for any reason, I can continue my journey in PS4 and buy lots of Tritium to go out into the black.

When I started the process a warning box popped and it said "PLEASE SPEND ANY REMAINING ARX BEFORE YOU INITIATE YOUR TRANSFER."
If I'm planning on continuing to play in Legacy also, do I need to do that? Is it simply warning that my ARX won't transfer to PC? or will they disappear during the transfer?

Balance will still be available on Legacy, it just doesn't transfer to the PC account, I assume it is because it is a real money purchase and if it transferred you would get double RL purchasing power.
maybe also a contractual thing, may be an agreement real world payments for arx on ps or xbox cant be transferred to a different platform.
ARX won't disappear, but anything you buy with it on the console account after the transfer will not appear on your pc account.
The console commander and copied-to-PC commander are now completely separate, in separate universes. Actions done with one will not effect the other in any way. They only suggest spending any remaining ARX because what you buy with it will be copied, but ARX will not.
It appears that ARX is tied to your Frontier account, not your commander on that account. The Frontier account that I transferred to had a few hundred ARX from a week-old commander I cleared. The ARX was there for my copied commander after the transfer completed.
