Console support.

Own this game on XBONE, and will probably get the PS4 version as well. It's nice being able to run this game at good fps for only a few hundred bucks.

Anyways.

It would be nice to have 3D support for my 3D TV, as well as voice commands.

Just throwing it out there.

Oh, and HOTAS support as well

Pretty sure the PS4 has a compatible HOTAS model that will work. Xbox looks like its getting one as well. As far as 3D and voice commands, I don't think those will happen, but giving up hope wouldn't help get it done either.

Xbox gamer here, too. Always down to see more support for my platform of play.

The problem with implementing things like voice commands on consoles is that the software would need to come from the console maker and not the third party vendors we have supporting ED on the PC.

The fact that such a system would be specifically for this single game, and lets be honest, a niche game as far as MS and SONY are concerned, I seriously doubt we will ever see such a thing developed by either of those companies.

a third party will have to do voice commands for consoles. ED already has Voice Attack that handles that.

Also, Elite on PC has 'experimental' 3D options. I have red/blue glasses and have used anamorphic 3d a bit; it's fun for a short session but as I don't have a decent pair of 'real' red/blue glasses it gets to be a pain and my cardboard pair are about worn out.

Does the console version have these extra 3D items in the graphic options menu?
