Newcomer / Intro Controlling 2nd ship

[Malfunction]

I have the free Eagle, and have swapped it for the Sidewinder. Question is, if I travel to a distant destination, say over 50 light years away, and then decide the Sidewinder would be better for the tasks at hand, can I recall it from where I left it, or do I have to trudge all the way back and swap into it, thereby making the total trip 150 light years?

At the moment you need to go back, but there may be a way of having it transported to you in the future.
