Copy/Paste for coaster colors.

A tool for copying colors from one section of coaster track to another.

Can't you basically already do that?

1. Select the color of trackpiece 1
2. Select trackpiece 2 and recolor it.

The game remembers the last selected color's so its easy to "remember" it. You can also copy the #colorcode.

(Im sorry if this was not really what you ment, in which case i don't really get your question)

He is just asking for a one-click tool (easy life).

But with your way it is doable.

Maybe choosing the colors before building it would work.

Not quickly enough. I have to change over 4 colors everytime I select track using alternating colors. I make a 4m red section by changing all the colors to red individually, then I add a new 4m section which is still red so I now have to change at least 3 colors to white individually, then I make another 4m section which is still white. Now I have to change them back to red individually. OR (if I had a copy/ Paste tool) I could just use 2 clicks...done. I am talking about a tool that clones all 4 colors and then pastes them to another section.

Oke,

I would like to remove the "easy life" aspect from previous post.

You are right and I was to fast to reply.

Some objects need more color adjustments then other wich could prove to be difficult.

Now i understand what you mean, and indeed.. it makes sense :)

I would actually go even a step further and ask that they allow us to make color palettes to apply to items. So often I am making buildings or whatever and have to re-enter my color values from a previous building, which as you mention could be 2, 3, sometimes 4 colors. It would be so awesome if we could save custom swatches to apply at will.

I just don't have that kind of time, or want to spend any more time than is necessary to get the results I want. I already find the building tools to be boorishly slow. I only have bits of time throughout the day to do this.
