Ya he colaborado un poco.
He visto alguna burradas XD, como traducir los nombres de las Naves XD, he visto Dolphin>Delfin XDD anda que no me he reido XD

Nota: Hasta que no salga elite dangerous en español es mejor no traducir los nombres de las armas ni de las naves.

We can help indeed. Since we are currently translating the game to Spanish most of the terminology could be also used at coriolis I suppose.

As a general rule we are NOT translating any actual proper names into English (such as minor factions, systems, powerplay leaders...) and that also includes names of ships. A Vulture in English is also a Vulture in Spanish.

We are still very busy with the game translation though and that has priority, so I am not sure how and when we can actually get around this. Any other commander not participating in the game translation effort is of course free to help now here!

Viajero, yo he entrado a traducir algunas pero se hace difícil saber cuales traducir y cuales no, la verdad.

Me explico, muchas de las palabras que usamos, nombres de armas, escudos, blindajes, etc. los usamos tan habitualmente con su nombre en inglés que casi se hace extraño traducirlos. Sin embargo teniendo en cuenta que coriolis.io es solo el nombre de esos componentes ¿como haríamos para traducirlo entonces?

En muchos casos puedes traducir el significado directo de la palabra, en otros (por ejemplo se me ocurre gimbal/cardán) sería mas bien una "adaptación", así que mucho tampoco he podido hacer la verdad, menos sin ver la traducción oficial del juego, lo suyo sería que los que estais encargados de eso tradujerais con las mismas palabras coriolis.io por mantener la coherencia mas que nada.

Estamos bastante ocupados con la traducción del juego y personalmente prefiero esperar a que tengamos todos esos términos acabados. A lo mejor tenemos la mayoría ya en el glosario y no es mucho trabajo, no lo se. En cuanto pueda lo miro pero salvo que lo haga alguien antes no puedo ofrecer ninguna garantía ni fecha.
