Corvette Bug?

Has anyone else experienced the two huge hardpoints on the corvette refusing to fire (all other hardpoints fire)? I've tried all permutations of fire grouping and power priority (powerplant is sufficient to run everything on priority 1)? I'm perplexed, nothing changed on my end except the recent update.
 
Can be more specific? I got on mine a gimb efficent TV beams, and they work for me as well.

What type of weapon you had, whats thier engineer mod and its grade(special effect too), and if its fixed, or gimball?
I've got two class 4 gimballed beams with g5 Efficient and thermal vent. Never had an issue before yesterday, but I admit I just came back after a five month hiatus. Weird.

I see, its same loadout as mine, maybe you got a ship kit that somewhat "is the way" for these huge hardpoints? I dont use any ship kits on my vette, but that was supposed to be fixed by now (atleast in odyssey). As all of ship kits have now hitboxes, and at some ships, certain kits was obscuring some hardpoint line of fire.

So if you got ship kits, try remove these and see if those hardpoints still fire. If that wont solve the problem, then I guess ticket time for frontier. Still that odd, cuz plently of cmdrs use vettes all the time, and you are seems only one who have this problem so far, otherwise would be surely more cmdrs who would had such issue.

That's a great idea for an explanation, but alas, I have no ship kits at all, just a free paint job from a couple Christmases ago. It is indeed perplexing as you have noted, there is nothing else to be found about this issue on these or other fora.
 
For posterity, in case anyone else runs into this:

I just got a change to log back into the game. I took the corvette to some empty space and tested the huge lasers, they seemed to work now. However, i then went back, picked up a mission and when combat started, the huge lasers did indeed fire, but the turrets on the same fire group would not fire (4 pips in weapons, all aspects/firing arcs to target - fire at target only). I just don't know what the heck...
 
I am about 12000ly on an exploration hike to SagX in my FC. I read this thread earlier today and on opening Odyssey I took my Corvette out of the garage for a spin and to test the weapons, everything worked as it should right from the off. I would like to add that this the first time in months I have been in my Corvette or used any kind of weapons other than mining equipment.
 
I see this bug a lot and for months now. It only happens when i get interdicted by a pirate who belongs to a mission where you have to kill a number of pirates. There is a chance that my gimballed beam lasers only fire when the pirate is in the upper part of the screen. I press the fire button but the lasers don't shoot when aiming at the center of the screen. I'm not sure, but i might have seen that both lasers have different blind spots occationatly. My corvette only has a paint job. I have two G5 gimballed efficency beam lasers. I submit to the interdiction, activate weapons, send my fighter and at this point i am allowed to turn my ship towards the pirate.
 
TBH, I'm pretty sure this isn't limited to the Corvette.

Noticing that some of your weapons aren't firing is just "par for the course" in ED.
You swap fire-groups, swap back and the weapons come on line.

There'll be times when you think some weapons aren't firing, such as when the belly-gun of an Annie (or Corvette) isn't firing, but it's simply cos your reticle is favouring dorsal weapons and you need to lift the nose before the belly-gun will fire.
There are other times, though, such as when I'm firing the C3 weapons on a Krait, when I'll realise that the C3 laser is firing but the C3 MCs right next to it aren't.

I guess this is just most noticeable on the 'vette because the two honking great hardpoints on top are likely to be your main weapons so when they're not firing it's blindingly obvious.

it wasn't the 2 class 4 it was simply a class 4 beam
I was interdicted by hostile rep navy ships and only my mc's would fire
at first I thought they had taken C&P too far.
because I could not fire my main weapon, I left.
Stopped out of SC right away to test weapons, they all worked fine....nice little random glitches.

Very good point, it is extremely more noticeable on the corvette with those two huge than some of the other ships and hardpoints (even the class 3 on the bottom of the corvette).
