Corvette multi purpose build (missions, trading, Bounty Hunting)

Welcome commanders.

I have just (literally 10mins ago) reached Rear Admiral rank. Oh boy, was that fun. I did not use the usual GRINDY way of doing it as I wanted to avoid burnout again, which happened 2 years ago when I was trying to do it.

Anyway, I went from warrant officer to lt commander in my kreit mk2 (USS VICTORIA) but then decided to sacrifice the fighter for more cargo and kitted a python out (USS MjöLnir) and that helped speed up things a bit since area which I was working in, had alot of 5+ rep delivery missions back and forth of 120+ commodities so I saved on travel and obviously combat was piece of cake as well.

Now, since I have a vette to buy (coin is no issue as I did LTD3 in boran and col so yeah, cha-ching $$$$$), I am looking at similar path of outfitting it to move on and do empire rank. I will keep my python in case I will find a nice area of empire influence with majority of outposts, but I like to try out the vette since I just spent nearly 8 days getting the rank for it.

HMS DREADNOUGHT is what I will be looking at. As You can see, concept is similar, a bit different in hard points however. My logic here is that, I don't use HSinks on either build, having small HPs on vette makes sense to me to utilise them as my Heat Vents, and since they are small, having them turreted looses me only about 10dps, but helps with staying on target so more efficient heat management, plus no need to worry about setting up a fire group. Speaking of fire groups, I am thinking of doing plasmas on trigger 1, MC and rails on 2nd and turrets independent.

HMS DREADNOUGHT pure combat If I decide to do some massacre missions to brake the boredom I will swap most of optionals for guardian shield reinforcements, replace 6bi-weave with 7bi-weave and drop couple of SCBs to help regenerate if it goes low (if it will be even possible with shield strength achieved on this build lol)

I welcome any criticism and comments, load outs on previous builds worked great but I think there was less management since less HPs. I ran an FDL on gimb Beams and gimb MCs before but it was so damn boring I had to change thing up plus I just LOVE those rails for condas spamming SCBs, so satisfying.

Just to add, vette build is for PVE.

Edit: Damn, I got so excited that I posted it in wrong forum section. If a mod pops in, can You kindly move it to Ships and Outfitting section of forum? Much appreciated.

So...just to be clear here...
If a ship is named Dreadnought does it actually dread nought or is there a dreadnought Dreadnought dreads?

I'll see myself out...

How is your build multipurpose? Also a c6 biweave is nothing for a corvette.. will pop in seconds.

No srv
only one scanner
no heatsinks
no collectors
no hatchbreakers
no scoop

ok, I didn't specify, my bad:

delivery missions
sourcing missions
bounty hunting missions
planetary scans missions (srv is there m8 :)
assassination missions
trading between stations where I am completing missions if profitable

check my python out, I run beam lasers with thermo vent, works wonders instead of heat sinks, as per the scoop, this build is to do my empire rank so I will find a system with lots of empire factions and appart from PAX, missions usually are 20ly jump max away so no need for scoop, hatchbreakers I never used them before and I'd rather not try it on a 30mil rebuy ship so I will avoid those missions, might try on python; I might drop FSD intredictor for collectors its a good point there, it was easy to scoop up salvage in python but might be tricky in a vette, as per shields well with 6c biweave with just 1 pip in shields I get this
RAW1,920.0N/A
ABS18.5%2,354.8N/A
KIN59.9%5,869.6N/A
THM61.4%6,104.0N/A
EXP67.9%7,324.8

I think it's enough for occasional pirate, not gonna visit RES's in that (combat build for thiat purpose); I have no access to prisma but since it's PvE I'd rather stick to bi weave.

I will also park my FC in said system or very close by so if I decide to take on those not so legal missions after all I can always drop in and replace 1 of the CARGO RACKS for said hatchbrackers and manifest scanner.

This build is for what I will mostly stick to doing for now, I might play with optionals a bit more later, I am more interested on what You guys think about using turreted beams on small HPs as well as the rest of my HP loadout.

here is 4 pips results, so I don't see how they r gonna pop in seconds against NPC?

Oh and if you think about it... a scoop is much better than a fsd booster if you do not plan to jump big distances. Or use it for something completely different

did some mods, see what You think. I am actually tempted to do a bit of illegal acquisition of goods kinda missions... I am defo gonna go back to Your build when I will try a bit of pirating, for now it's missions oriented vessel

I'm not sure on FSI as when doing missions it usually leads to an Mission Signal Source and targets are there so I don't have to do intredicting there... or do I?

Multipurpose is nice on paper, not so nice in the field.
Every time i tried it, i ended up optimizing that build for different tasks.

For example, mission running.
Pure multipurpose - but i could not properly do assasination missions nor supplydelivery missions, i decided that i hate planetary scans - too much time wasted for too little results. Pickup-up/repurpose missions were so and so, but they still required a certain build with hatch breakers and collectors and pdt while still be able to take a beating while your victim's escorts are pounding on you.

So what i did was to stack every mission i could get. Out of 20, like 6-9 were supply/delivery, rest were assasination/pickup-repurpose missions.
I turned my ship in a hauler and did all the supply delivery (in the meantime picking other missions), then outfitted for assasination and went on a killing spree then rinse and repeat.
My mission board was always between 12-20 missions during that time. But as i said, i was doing them stacked by type, not mixed...

Thats precicely what I did with original build, it was optimized for supply, assassinations, planetary scans and salvage, I think I will go back to that setup and focus on stacking those 4 types of missions as I did on federal rank, it worket really well. I totally agree that trying to optimize 1 ship for EVERYTHING ends up in making it SUCK BIG D in everything ie not enough cargo, not enough fire power, not enough defence
