I think that elite dangerous needs more of a thrill aside form thorgoids and anomalies. Cosmic events like Ion storms occasionally between warps or certain systems. maybe planetary metoer showers when in srv or on foot 
and supernova events. Seems like it would be a challenge and a thrill . Wormholes due to alot of players dont wanna constantly jump out 6000 ly only to jump another 6000 or more specially new players kinda makes it seem that its all there is to exploring. More ships would be nice due to there's only like 40 ships and which doesn't really give much of a advantage to over ships besides the role and ship size and all falls on engineering for specs which isn't bad but kinda makes it to where the thrill is dumbed down once you get a cutter and corvette and your filthy rich with fully g5 systems.
