Could dinosaurs escape? And I do not mean from enclosures, I mean from the parks themselves.

Small realization, but JWE2 is going to be in a large open world. A lot of maps look to be very open, not secluded from other locations like the islands of JWE. I recalled that dinosaurs could be introduced to your park beyond bioengineering them, and it got me thinking if they could escape the park itself? If so, are there any means to recapture them? Or any drawbacks from their escapes?

If you pluck them from the wild, logically they'd just go back to the place you get them from, assuming it's nearby. It is an interesting thought.
Yeah, exactly! Like I was thinking how the method works.

Like do you send out teams to capture dinosaurs, or do you go out and capture the dinosaurs yourself? And if I bred a blue amargasaurus and it escaped, would I find that blue amargasaurus in the wild? Or if I bred an indominus rex, and she escapes, would the wild dinosaur population in that area dwindle? Or if I wanted a unique wild stegosaurus, do I breed a whole bunch, release them to the wild, and observe if any new members popped up?

This method of getting dinosaurs outside of bioengineering could be a lot of fun! 🤩

"Certain modes allow you to transport live dinosaurs into your park from the wild via remote capture and narrative events and in some levels, they'll be wild dinosaurs in your surrounding area that you need to locate, tranquilise and transport back to your facilities."

Based on the new info, it sounds more like there's a pool of wild areas you can take from, from any given map. The surrounding area one seems like it's referring to dinosaurs on the map itself, especially with the word "need" being used.

So I'd hazard a guess, if escaping were something that could happen, the dinos might eventually reappear in a specific wild area dependant on their species, or alternatively just the designated closest one.

This actually opened up something. Have you played Planet Coaster? One thing I noticed with that game is that the maps we had covered an area, but there was a HUGE open space surrounding the buildable area. With what you have quoted, it could be that JWE2 could have a similar system, but that open area that is not buildable is going to be populated with wild dinosaurs.

I am very interested to see gameplay to see this in action, it looks to be very immersive if that is the case.
