Could I please have some help with binding for mouse and keyboard controls in the current game version please?

My HOTAS broke. By broke I mean the plastic snapped. Beyond repair.

I've been trying to bind my controls for keyboard and mouse, but the default bindings seem a bit rubbish, yet at the same time, looking at all those binding options leaves my brain spinning in confusion and intimidation.

Is there a guide/diagram/something available to help scrubs like me get their keyboard and mouse set for ED?

I'm just hoping that there's a spreadsheet or something out there that I can copy from.

I like to map a lot of functions using ALT+<key> where <key> could be most of the keys within reach of the left hand with the thumb on the alt key. Also left CTRL or left SHIFT for some others including making use of some autohotkey scripts. (https://www.autohotkey.com/)

Good advice don't forget you can also use the alt and shift modifiers to work with buttons on your mouse which was very useful for me.
