I just don't understand why we are forced to breed animals to get a certain colour morph in sandbox mode.
It only shows the custom rate instructions. Does the medium rate just mean half the animals have a certain colour morph? You just need to follow the instructions from the creators.
Contact me on Nexus. Modding is not endorsed by Frontier so I think specifics on how a mod works etc. shouldn't be discussed here.It only shows the custom rate instructions. Does the medium rate just mean half the animals have a certain colour morph?
Yes that would be a colormorph.About axolotl in Planet Zoo, do white with pink gills count as colormorph? Well, I only watch that game instead of buying it to play.

I usually play Franchise, but I must admit it gets annoying in Sandbox, especially considering it is actually named "Sandbox", where everything needs to be easier.@ReptoMin, do you also find it harsh to breed lots of animals in order to get a certain colour morph in sandbox mode?
Agreed.especially considering it is actually named "Sandbox", where everything needs to be easier.
OK.I've posted this very idea many times in the past. I'm hoping that eventually Frontier will release an update including an "Animal Designer" for sandbox with an option to randomise the data for those who prefer it the way it is.
Basically it would work like this:
For many in-game species, maximum size genes are the only way to get a realistic-sized animal (looking at the giant tortoises, which are very undersized, and the Indian elephant to some extent). We should be able to manipulate these factors ourselves in Sandbox.
- Choose Species.
- Choose coat variations (including rare colourmorphs).
- Change genetic sliders (size, fertility, so on).
- Perhaps even choose point of origin (pet trade, other zoo, etc.).
- Adopt Animal.
Agreed. We should be able to manipulate these factors ourselves in Sandbox.
Would so love to have a white bengal tigerHello Frontier. In the next update, could it be possible for you to add 2 more of each animals in sandbox mode since we only get 4 & for the other 2 could they be a colour morph? This only for the animals that have mutations.
Also in the next update, could you add the other 3 mutations to the Bengal Tiger which are the Pseudo-Melanistic (for the white one as well), Snow White & Golden.

Also could you give the leucistic Bengal Tiger brown stripes as well? Keep the original but in a different onw give it brown stripes.

On Wikipedia, it says that the Bengal Tiger is the only one with the leucism not the Siberian Tiger So could you please remove it?

Dall Sheep could come in brown

Dholes have more white often (and they're fluffier sometimes too)
Speaking of more white, it would be cool if piebald could occur in more animals.
This sounds fantastic.I've posted this very idea many times in the past. I'm hoping that eventually Frontier will release an update including an "Animal Designer" for sandbox with an option to randomise the data for those who prefer it the way it is.

Not a bad idea.I would also like the option to toggle off injured animals. You can switch off injuries in the sandbox settings, but this only prevents them occuring after adoption, animals can still arrive in the zoo with visible wounds.
