The timeline shown at FX'17 didn't have a huuuuuuuge gap between the second minor update and the Q4 update - so it would seem to be fairly safe to say that it'll be this year....

To answer you previous question more fully : betas have dropped in the morning , betas have dropped in the afternoon, and probably early evening. So "yes" is still the correct answer
All big updates and betas in the past were released around 17pm BST. So I guess it's another 8 hours...

I had hoped that they provide an early download, so people can download upfront before the server goes live, but nope. As it is, I guess many of the streamers listed in the sticky above will start with a "significant" download session - I hope they have prepared some topics to bridge the time
I'll take a guess and say beta will start between 16:30 and 18:30 UK time.
