I think its fairly well established than in american politics the right only give a toss about the child up until its born. After that the child and the parents better be able to provide everything because the social safety net in America is next to non-existent.

The right have been fairly successful in indoctrinating a large portion of the population into thinking free healthcare, social safety net, socialism, liberalism and a whole host of other things are beyond evil and lead to communism.

Funnily enough there is many nations around the globe that have some or all of those features and none of them are raising the hammer and sickle.

It's not a fantasy. It's okay if a man wishes to have a child one day, same for a woman. The same can be said if a person doesn't want a child(but they are responsible for what happens in their efforts to make it never happen)

to be fair......... So do cattle!.
End of the day we are just apes .... albeit with a slightly higher brain capacity... without our brains and our opposable thumbs we would be no different to cattle..... and ultimately which is why abstinence rarely works...... Note I said rarely... it clearly can work but our body will fight against it, as it is in our nature to procreate...

And sure you can fight our nature if you choose, but when it is something as harmless as sex (so long as done carefully) I dont see the point to be honest. So long as both parties are game, I can think of other much more important fights we need to have other than maintaining celibacy for anything other than having kids.
