CQC etiquette?

Anyone who gets offended about people leaving between matches clearly has too little else to worry about. Personally I was never that bothered by people leaving during deathmatches either - it's only your own points you're giving up - though it was more irritating when people did it during TDM and turned a losing but recoverable match into a rout... With the combination of carrier jump lockdowns and queueing from in-game, it might well see a lot of people dropping in for exactly one match while their carrier jumps, because what else are they going to do?

It's a fun little game of exploding spaceships, not something to take too seriously anyway.

I honestly hope that one day I'll be good enough to compete with you guys at that level.
I'm way too out of practice to be at that level, but I used to be pretty decent ... it took me until rank 30-something before I won a deathmatch. Keep it up and you'll get there.

I am a non-PVP player, but I am enjoying CQC. I hope you're not saying that you take my post as hateful or whiny. I have a ton of respect for you, and several others. I honestly hope that one day I'll be good enough to compete with you guys at that level. I'm just not there now. I'm posting because IF me leaving the game after a round or two with you is offending you, I'd like to adjust my behavior. As I said in my original post, I feel like I'm in your house(you and the other apex guys) when I play CQC.. I want to be respectful.

There is no obligation to play CQC. If you feel it's too tough for you then leave the lobby before the game starts.
And if you decide to stay and play, don't quit seconds before the end of the match when it doesn't go your way.
You waste people's time plus someone may lose well deserved points that way.

Leaving the lobby after the match is perfectly fine. By 'quitters' I meant people quitting mid-game and doing it regularly.

As a CQC regular (altough I'm absent recently), I would like to mention one more thing. There is a big, recent problem with (mostly) newbies, who behave extremely abusive and vulgar on the CQC chat. Some people don't care when they are offended, but there are also people who are allergic to such behavior, which can't be even described as rudeness (this word is too soft to describe this level of bad language). To be honest - I wasn't offended (so I'm not crying), but I hate when the others are. This is one of the reasons, why I made a longer break in playing CQC. The game should help you to relax after a hard day, such insults simply don't help. I think I'm getting to old to read things about sucking certain organs, being gay, sleeping with mothers etc written by frustrated teenagers, who think that they are somehow cool this way.

(Of course, the Devs did nothing, even when those players were reported)

A lot of loggers in the xbox arena, But I don't really blame them. 99 out of 100 players can't even bring my shields down.

Yea, you did nothing wrong. If I join CQC I sure don't join for a 1:1 match with the paper ships offered (in that case it's all about getting the drop and you win that round), so if that all that a match gets - I drop to the main menu before the match countdown starts and try again later.
